Frequently Asked Question

How often you get a check-up at the dentist depends on your individual oral health. People with a higher risk of oral diseases should us every three to six months; people with a low risk should have a check-up completed every one to two years. Children should have check-ups every six months.

Contact us as soon as possible. We may able to guide you over the phone and we will certainly bring you in as soon as possible.

If you can’t reach us, or if you have a more serious injury like broken facial bones, you should go to the nearest emergency room.

We will always ensure you are comfortable during dental procedures. We use the best anaesthetics in the industry to get you numb before dental procedures and will take breaks as needed to ensure you are comfortable.

There are a few options for replacing missing teeth:

  1. Dental implants

  2. Implant-supported dental bridges

  3. Tooth-supported dental bridges

  4. Removable partial dentures

We will discuss best options with you and most dental procedures are completed in house.

  1. Explain what to expect at the dentist and why it’s important to go.

  2. Read books about the dentist or about characters who visit the dentist.

  3. Watch videos about the dentist to help ease your child’s anxiety.

  4. Bring a comfort item or toy to help your child feel safe and secure.

  5. Schedule a morning appointment so your child is alert and fresh.

You can also be a good role model by staying calm during the dental exam room. Children can pick up on their parents’ anxieties.
